I’m back and I’ve been busy

The three pictures represent what I’ve spent the month of April (so far) obsessing over.  

The outline (Save the Cat) is done so now I can start building in the overall structure and twists and clues of the novel.  I’ve got 50k + 30K from another work I’m going to salvage for this one.  So, starting with 80k and hoping to write another 20k to weave in all the story.

The middle picture is my one sentence summation.  Right now I’ve got:  On the verge of bankruptcy, a single smut writer and substitute teacher sell baked goods at her local swinger’s club where she bartends to make extra cash, but when she discovers her new cop boyfriend may be a white nationalist, she must learn who she can trust to stop the local militia from blowing up the state capital building.   

The third picture is the whole thing printed out—whew.  It looks like so much when it’s all in one place.  I’m pretty chuffed and have been pricing editors on Fivrr.

My newest goal is to have it all to the editor by May 22.
